This refined, stylish little vase is a work of Petra Švejdarová, the founder of the young brand Prasklo. It brings together the delicacy of glass with the roughness of concrete. The glass sports a unique ‘cracked look’, which was achieved by cooling the glass in ice-cold water right after it was taken out of the fire. All in all – it is a small vase with a big wow effect and will look amazing with some wildflowers or even on its own.
The mastermind behind Prasklo is Petra Švejdarová, a starting artist from Prague. Vases from Prasklo are a proof that unlikely combinations make for the best pairings. Made of glass and concrete – yes, we are talking cement here – these vases are somehow both elegant and raw. As if that wasn’t unusual enough, all the glass is recycled from old perfume flacons, alcohol bottles or light fixtures.
