Who says beautiful things can’t be useful
Bisqit is a studio founded by Zuzana Firla and Martina Žílová, and no, they don’t make biscuits. That said, those beautiful plates, bowls and cups they make, would surely come in handy to any biscuit fiend out there.
Zuzka and Martina named the studio after Bisque porcelain, which is known for its matte appearance and texture that is a bit rougher to touch. They use it to create limited collections of products, and their goal is to bust the old Czech myth that beautiful things can’t be super useful too.
Apart from the few examples mentioned above, they also make vases, flower pots, jars, jugs or posters. Their pieces are simple, elegant and – most importantly – really easy to incorporate in your everyday life.
